Crisis Center – 24/7
One-Stop Crisis Center-Citizens Homeless Task Force Meeting
Calling ALL nonprofits, volunteers, private citizens, religious leaders, corporate leaders, and business owners. We are asking that we unite and combine our strengths as well as our passions to address Osceola County’s very complex levels of homelessness and the need for action.
We believe by providing a one-stop 24-hour center that is working in tandem with a countywide system of nonprofits and local assistance will help expedite services for individuals in crisis.
A One-Stop Community Center that is open 24/7 where you can go for vetted information about local resources is exactly what Osceola County needs. A place where you can take a hot shower, fill your belly with healthy food, change your socks and unmentionables when you have nowhere else to turn.
A Crisis Center where you can learn to navigate the latest technology, experience interview coaching, and build a professional resume to help you land that job you want. As well as offer you ‘professional clothing’ so you’re looking sharp for the big interview. Or maybe you just need a hug and some advice because you’ve had a rough couple of weeks and exhausted all other options.
When you are in a major life-changing crisis and have nowhere to turn, think about how amazing it would be to find a place where hope never sleeps.
